When Henri SELMER Paris developed the soprano saxophone with a detachable neck, the model was initially called the Super Action 80 Series III and was intended to be the successor to the Super Action 80 II. However, SELMER decided to produce both models — the Super Action 80 II and Super Action 80 III — in parallel. As demand for both model series was sufficiently high, the new model was renamed “SERIES III” some time later.

This SELMER soprano saxophone is therefore an early Series III model that still bears the “Super Action 80 Series III” stamp.

Its first and only owner has taken very good care of this SELMER soprano saxophone, and it is in perfect condition. Freshly fine-tuned in our SAXOPHONIC workshop, it is ready to play right away.
